This is how I repaired a broken foot peg in my Pygmy kit boat, Pinguino. The Pinguino has inexpensive plastic rails and food brace pegs. These save on weight and seem adequate in most situations. However, one of these pegs came apart and wouldn’t hold its position on the rail while I was on a multi-day trip. The repair I made is detailed in the video below. It has been back in use for several years now and is working fine.
